5K Ski & Snowshoe Course
Description
Moderately difficult 5K loop course over rolling terrain.
10K Ski Course Description
Two loops of the 5K course.
1K Non-Competitive Meadow Loop
A 1K flat loop will be groomed in the meadow for the family or non-competitive
skiers to enjoy.

Saturday, January 19th (5:00pm - 8:00pm):
Pasta Dinner and Packet Pick-up at High Country Restaurant on Hwy 17 in Chama.
(Pasta Dinner: Pasta Primavera & Salad or Spaghetti & Meatballs & Salad)

Sunday, January 20 (8:00am - 9:00am): Race
Day Registration & Breakfast Buffet at High Country Restaurant.
(Breakfast Buffet: OJ; coffee; melons; eggs; hash browns; sausage; bacon;
biscuits & gravy; blueberry pancakes; beans; red & green chile; toast & jelly)

Sunday, January 20 (11:00am): Races start at Windy Point
(on Hwy 17 below Cumbres Pass, at the 2-Mile Marker)

Sunday, January 20 (4:00): Awards Ceremony at High Country Restaurant

Free green chile stew & coffee at the Awards Ceremony followed by live
entertainment

All racers will receive a commemorative pin and long sleeve shirt

Chile Ristras will be awarded for the fastest times for men and women

Medals awarded to 1st through 3rd place age division finishers
(10-year divisions)

non-competitive training

• 10K Adult Ski = $30.00
• 5K Adult Ski = $20.00
• 5K Adult Snowshoe = $20.00
• 10K Adult Ski & Snowshoe Combined = $40.00
• 5K Adult Ski & Snowshoe Combined = $30.00
• 10K Ski (15 – 17 yrs.) = $10.00
• 5K Ski (17 & Under) = $10.00
• 5K Snowshoe (17 & Under) = $10.00
• 10K Ski & Snowshoe Combined (15 – 17 yrs.) = $10.00
• 5K Ski & Snowshoe Combined (17 & Under) = $10.00
• $5.00 Late Fee Added to Race Day Registrations
• Children Under 12 Years Must Ski/Snowshoe With An Adult
